Obituary for Nina Ip

Nina Ip of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 84, with the family by her side.
Nina was born in Dongguan China and moved to Hong Kong as a teenager. She married David Ip, raised a family and immigrated to Canada over 40 years ago.
Nina is survived by her five children, Jane Kan (Thomas), Leo Ip (Carol), Maureen Te (John), Gemma Fong (Richard), Sunny Ip (Evelyn); Eight grandchildren Simon (Xiaoou), Sean, Christopher, Theresa, Tony, Carmen (Ari), Carson (Ela), Esther; One great-granddaughter Sophia.
Nina was predeceased by her loving husband David in 1992.

Nina's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family, and she was immensely proud of them. A life lived beautifully, Nina left behind lots of incredible memories. We will forever miss her beautiful smile, elegant look and her unselfish love to all.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family viewing will be held on May 24th and a private family Funeral Service will be held on May 25th, 2020 in the Trinity Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation is made in her name to the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre/staff social fund or to the Chinese Catholic Parish.
